Doing It Right
They say you only live once, but if you do it right once is
enough. I like to think although I’ve
made mistakes along the way I am doing it right. As I prepare to turn the corner into my 40s (now 41) I
sit back and reflect what my 10 year-old self would say about my life and the
choices I’ve made. I know she would be quite surprised. First she’d probably wonder where my husband
and children were. Once she got over
that shock I think she would be proud.
I am writing this blog to document and share my stories…the
trials and tribulations of a 41 year-old single gal dating in San Diego, my
continued journey overcoming a lifelong battle with Ed (we’ll come back to Ed
later), adventures with my friends and family, hijinks and antics raising two
beagles, and all of the other expeditions to becoming the fun-loving,
independent, successful, strong, healthy, perfectly imperfect woman I have
become.
